Learning Community Workshop

Designed for High School and College students, this immersive workshop will engage students at the early stage of the entrepreneurial journey. Many students proclaim that they want to “start their own thing”, or “work for themselves” one day, but many aren’t sure where to start. The student track at the Ocean Conference will equip students with practical tools, next steps, and opportunities to connect with seasoned entrepreneurs for networking and mentoring opportunities.

Key Topics

  • 25 musts for every student interested in becoming an entrepreneur
  • Panel: How I Started My Business While in School
  • Landing an Internship at a Startup
  • Purpose + Mission: your compass to success
  • Difference between learning and doing

OCEAN will be hosting a Startup internship Job Fair at the conference this year. This will be a great opportunity for local startups to connect with college students from Miami, UC, Xavier, UD, NKU and more! We expect 100+ students attending the conference and 20+ startup companies who will be offering internships (both paid and unpaid).

The job fair will be programmed time slots where students and startups can meet and connect about internship opportunities. A great WIN/WIN opportunity – students can get experience working at a startup and startups can access some top-notch student talent.

Interested startups can register via this form. Students can register for the Conference on our ticketing site.
